Ghi-cbp vs ghi hmo

So I thought about just picking between the 2 most popular plans they offer: GHI-CBP and HIP-HMO. Do I pick GHI-CDP or HIP-HMO? AFAIK, the only difference is that HIP has no-pays but requires PCP referrals, while GHI-CDP has co-pays but does not require PCP referrals. 2 comments

At work (New York City government) I'm currently with the cheapest option, the GHI CBP plan. The problem is that while there seem to be a fair number of doctors in the network, I've had the experience of calling up eight or nine in a row and found that all of them were no longer taking new patients, or no longer taking new patients on GHI, or just plain not answering their phones.

Health insurance policy holders can still access their online account using the GHI user name and password they established when Emblem Health was GHI. He currently has GHI CBP/Empire BC/BS for hosp,which, like I said, excludes the Lap Band. BUT everyone else I know uses GHI. I know their co-pays are pretty reasonable. Don't know what the payroll deduction is though.
